The Flight (Beg) is a 1970 Soviet historic drama film, mainly based on Bulgakov’s play Flight but also on his novel The White Guard and his libretto Black Sea. Written and directed by Alov and Naumov and is the story about a group of high society refugees from the Russian Civil War seeking out an exile existence in Istanbul and Paris in the 1920s
