Morten Bo (b. 1945): Danish documentary photographer, founder of the Fatamorgana school of photography. Morten Bo’s classic photographic essay on Danish countrylife, the rural population, farmers and the man-made landscape. A very fine, grapichally well produced photo book not unlike the work of Swedish photographer Sune Jonsson in his ‘Village with the blue house’ and Bornholm’. Perfect together with ‘Novemberrejse’ by Krass Clement. A major work among Danish photobooks, still very underrated and largely unknown outside Denmark. First edition
