Illustrated b/w. Cover as issued with blind-embossed covers designed by Massimo Vignelli impressed with the typographical plate of an American newspaper page and stock exchange page, dating from the days of New Paper strike in New York 1962 to 1963. A hint of wear and light discoloration to covers but else a clean copy and overall a very good copy

Fine exhibition catalogue published in conjunction with show held June 28 – August 21, 1966. Text by exhibition’s curators Mildred Constantine and Arthur Drexler of the Museum’s Department of Architecture and Design. Includes works by Janet Cooper, Morris Graves, Habbah, Jasper Johns, Karen Karnes, Kusama, John Latham, Les Levine, Man Ray, Preston McClanahan, Bruno Munari, Meret Oppenheim, Olen Orr, Ralph Ortiz, Wolfgang Paalen, Tony Palladino, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Robert Rauschenberg, Lucas Samaras, Fabio de Sanctis. Vignelli’s cover maybe inspired by Asger Jorn and Guy Debord’s Fin de Copenhague (1957) where the artists stole and used typographical plates from a newspaper printing site.
