Erró (born Guðmundur Guðmundsson in 1932 in Iceland) is a visual artist and painter, best known for his painted pop art collages of images from comic books and advertisements. He has been called The (Roy) Lichtenstein of Iceland and art critic Arthur Danto wrote in a 1999 essay that “[Erró] has succeeded, all by himself, in bringing Pop Art into its flamboyant baroque.”
