Complete, well preserved 1969 issue of ” Du ” dedicated to Bruce Davidson’s classic photo essay documenting East 100th Street in New York City. This was the first published appearance of the essay and predates the book by at least one year. All photos are reproduced in gorgeous gravure (which the book is not) and in a larger format than the book. Additionally included are some foldouts, none of which appear in the book. Text in German by Claes Oldenburg, Urs Widmer, Henri Paucker. Barely visible wear to lower right corners and a hint of discoloration to upper edge of cover (see photo) else tight very fine and clean copy
